How this works
Breaking Upward has no database. Text you paste or type here stays on your device until you click “Translate this clause.” At that moment, it is transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate your translation, then discarded. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. We built it this way on purpose: we can't produce what we don't have. If you want to keep a translation, copy it before you close this tab.
If your document contains names, financial figures, or other sensitive details, be aware that content is transmitted to Anthropic for that single request. If you are in active divorce proceedings, consider whether your attorney should review your documents before using this tool.
